Acts of remembrance were held at All Saints Oakham and St Andrew Whissendine on Saturday 15th August to mark VJ Day. This year is the 75th anniversary marking both the surrender of Japan and the end of the Second World War. Wreaths were laid to remember and recognise all those who served and sacrificed in the Far East and ultimately brought an end to the Second World War.
