The Archbishops have invited all churches to join in their prayer initiative, Thy Kingdom Come.
It promises to be a highlight of the year as churches around the world, from many denominations host prayer events in their churches and communities.
Every church is being asked to pray for people to come to know Christ, and we will be doing so at Morning Prayer in Oakham, and at the services on Ascension Day. Thy Kingdom Come will be a wave of prayer across the nation and we are all invited to join in.
