Ordination of Priests

Sunday 24 June is a significant day, not just for Iain and Charlotte our curates, but also in the life of All Saints and the Oakham Team and we very much hope that a number of you will feel able to make the journey to Peterborough Cathedral that morning for our ordination as priests. It is a spectacular service, full of the best ceremony of the Church of England and rich in symbol and meaning and if you have not been to an ordination before, this might be a good opportunity. It starts at 11:00am, will probably last for 90 minutes, but if you can’t make the morning, then Iain will be celebrating Holy Communion in the evening back at All Saints at 6:00pm with a visiting preacher from Ridley Hall theological college, Cambridge, where he trained and a glass of fizz afterwards hopefully, and Charlotte will be celebrating her first mass on Sunday 1 July at 10:30am.
