The boiler at All Saints Oakham has become unreliable over the last few years, largely as a result of its location in an underground chamber, where it is very susceptible to dampness and corrosion.
The PCC, and the fabric committee on its behalf, have spent a lot of time and effort looking at alternative solutions to the problem, in conjunction with the DAC and heating engineers, and are now in a position to submit a faculty application.
Public notification, the first stage, began on Wednesday 22 June 2016, and parishioners have 28 days in which to lodge any objections. Click on the links below to see details of the proposals.
