It is September – the season of Harvest and mellow fruitfulness. I am writing to thank you for gifts at Harvest last year and at other times of the year to the Rutland Foodbank. We rely on the generosity of many people living in Rutland. During 2017 we have had more clients than previously, and this is not going to change. Universal Credit and delays in benefits are hitting the poorest hardest. The posters elsewhere detail our greatest needs at present, and if you could donate any of these items it would be wonderful.
