Between Easter and Pentecost, the Cathedral and the Diocese are working together on a joint mission to pray and equip every church in the Diocese for growth. Recognising that every church is different and that many are short of money, the mission is based on three things that anyone can do, and that ought already to be part of the DNA of the Church: Prayer, telling our own stories and reading the Bible! Every church will have a ‘Pray and See’ candle and prayer card to use in Sunday intercessions from now until Pentecost, there will be ‘Read and See’ training sessions at Peterborough Cathedral on 8 May (7-9pm) or Moulton Church, Northampton on 21 May (7-9pm). Thy Kingdom Come Prayer and Praise at the Cathedral will take place on 25 May at 5.30pm, and will be an opportunity to come together, pray together, sing together and get inspired about praying for growth together.
