Our church leaders met at Launde in June to discuss Mission to Oakham and to review our activities and aims, highlighting four area for future consideration: (1) more regular opportunities to meet and worship together, (2) getting to know each other better, (3) improved communication and (4) homelessness issues. There will be a further meeting on 29th October at 7:00 pm, at Oakham Methodist Church, involving lay representatives from the churches – if you might be interested in taking part please speak to Patrick Wilson.
In September an Alpha Course will start at Oakham Baptist Church, which all churches are invited to take part in – the launch will be on Monday 24 September – more details to follow.
