From September onwards Rutland Deanery will be benefitting from the Diocese of Peterborough’s Youth Work Apprenticeship Scheme. This scheme allows people to train for a qualification in Christian youth work through a mixture of study and practical work. Natalie will be working closely with the parish of Uppingham and Oakham Team Ministry, and forging links across the Deanery to build up ministry and outreach amongst young people. We will formally welcome her at a service in the autumn. Natalie will be able to support the ministry we offer to young people and families through church groups and school activities. It’s a small step forward, but God-willing one that will lead to many good things. If you’re interested in financially supporting ministry to young people in this area please speak to Stephen.
