You only have until 5th November to visit Peterborough Cathedral and see Tim Peake’s Soyuz spacecraft and his space suit. So far over 80,000 people have made that journey. Our Laudamus choir were at the Cathedral on Saturday 13th October, and were astounded to see the number of people there. The Cathedral was closed to the public from 2:30pm until 6:30pm to allow the Peterborough Diocesan Choral Festival choir to rehearse and for the actual service – when the doors re-opened hundreds of people streamed in. There is no charge to visit the Cathedral or see the spacecraft, but be warned, the spacecraft is only on display until Monday 5th November. Derek Cullen.
