The Waste Watchers holiday club for primary age children in August 2016 proved a great success.
The first day was a busy time of crafts, music, games, bible stories and reflection.
On the second day the theme was Water into Wine – more fun together – songs, stories, crafts, games and Vicars getting ‘shaving foam pie’! Rev Julie came prepared….!
On the third day the theme was looking at aspects of Good Friday so the crafts were based on the Cross. Lots of paper and glue today, as well as Fruit Salad and some lively games.
On the final day of the Holiday Club we made Mexican crafts and did junk modelling before going over to the Village Hall for a short service to show the things that we made. And then we resembled locusts and devoured the delicious lunch Julie had brought along!
