ASK is a group for young people aged 14-17, and it meets regularly, sometimes on Sundays, but also on other occasions. Activities have included attending the Greenbelt festival in August – a long weekend camping together including talks, music and lots of fun together, and various social events, including Sunday breakfasts and a Christmas party.
We have also enjoyed our ‘ASK the Big Questions’ discussion group, covering topics including Should a Christian be a soldier?, Why does God’s world contain suffering? and Is there a heaven? The group have also planned and led Sunday School and prepared prayers for Sunday services. On Maundy Thursday, the group have helped to keep the watch.
Though small, ASK is a lively and friendly group, enjoying fellowship and exploring matters of faith.
