We have a wide provision of services and activities for young people in the Oakham Team, for all ages. For more information, follow the links to individual pages where available.
During the Week
Tiny Tots
Also for children aged 0 to 4 and their parents or carers, Tiny Tots at Oakham (Thursdays at 9:45am during term-time) provides a time for play, craft, stories and songs.
Mainly Sundays
Sunday School
Children aged 4 to 11 are catered for the Sunday School at Oakham (Sundays at 10:30am), which meets at the same time as the morning service, joining the main congregation towards the end of the service. During the monthly Family Services on the 3rd Sunday of the month, the children join the main service throughout.
Fishes Club
The Fishes Club at Whissendine (Sundays at 11:00am) also caters for children aged 4 to 11, and again meets at the same time as the morning service, joining the main congregation towards the end of the service. During the monthly Family Services on the 2nd Sunday, the children join the main service throughout.
All Saints Youth Group
For older young people aged 12-16, the All Saints Youth Group meets on Sunday evenings, usually about twice a month, giving the young people an opportunity to explore Christian faith and experience God in relevant and radical ways through fun and games, bible study, discussion and films.
Family & All-age Services
Family Services
Morning Family Services, which are accessible to all age groups take place across the Team – at Whissendine (11am) on the Second Sunday of the month (Family Service) and Third Sunday (Family Communion), and on the Third Sunday at Oakham (10:30am), alternating between a Family Communion, and a non-eucharistic Family Service, often including Baptism.
