I am pleased to announce that a new clergy member is soon to be joining the Team. Ordained two and a half years ago, the Revd Owen Williams is currently assistant curate in the neighbouring parish of Uppingham. The Bishop and those responsible for his training have decided that a move will be beneficial for Owen at this stage as he looks to consolidate his learning and experience, and complete his curacy in a different context. Owen, his wife Rachel and their three children, will continue to live in Uppingham. Owen’s first Sunday in the Team will be 7th February. I’m sure you will want to join me in making him and his family feel very welcome.
