Pastoral Work

It is difficult for us to be aware of everyone’s need so we ask you to let us know if you, or anyone you know, would like a member of the clergy or a lay minister to visit. We are always very pleased to do so and it’s always a privilege. If you later tell us that we no longer need to visit as you’ll shortly be coming back to church, we’ll always respect that. So, If you then find that you can’t make it after all, and would therefore like us come and see you again, please do let us know.

We organises Sunday afternoon Tea Parties, which are a good opportunity to meet others for a friendly chat over a cup of tea.

We also have an active Bereavement Support Group.

On All Souls’ Day each year (2nd November – 12noon or 6pm if a Sunday), those whose have been bereaved in the last three years are invited to a special celebration of Holy Communion in Commemoration of the Faithful Departed, when the names of those who have passed away are read, and there is an opportunity to light a candle in their memory.
