Cameo is based on a tried and tested formula used in many churches all over the country; a social gathering for older people with an emphasis on attracting non church goers to share God’s love in a friendly setting. It starts with coffee and an informal hour when various activities around tables can be enjoyed, or just chatting, followed by a general interest speaker; either a church member with good stories to tell or useful information from outside , and is followed by 15 minutes of favourite hymns and prayer requests and lastly a simple lunch cooked on the premises.
