Mothers’ Union is an international Christian membership charity that aims to demonstrate the Christian faith in action through the transformation of communities worldwide.
We have an active branch in Oakham & Braunston, which is underpinned by prayer, with a membership of about 30 (including 2 men). We meet in Oakham Church Hall on the second Thursday of each month, enjoying a variety of different speakers. Sometimes meetings take place in Church, with a celebration of Holy Communion. At various times of the year we join with other branches further afield for events such as the Deanery Quiet Morning and the Diocesan Festival Service.
