We support various organisations involved in mission, both financially and practically:
At Oakham, the PCC allocated £8330 towards 24 organisations involved in Mission work, split between international (£3380), national (£2500), and local (£2450) organisations. For full details see page 10 of section 2 of the APCM Reports.
Practical opportunities include the following:
Walk Rutland for Jesus, who are holding a Rutland Water Prayer Walk on Saturday 3 September 2016;
Churches Together in Oakham and District will be delivering Welcome Packs to new houses in Oakham in Autumn 2016;
Kairos Prison Ministry will be holding a mission to HMP Stocken from 24 to 27 March 2017.
