An invitation to reflect on Advent themes through art, poetry and music as well as Scripture, using the popular Mapping Advent material.
Each session is a stand-alone, so please do just come to only one if that is all you can manage. The group will be led by Revd Charlotte Osborn and Ellie Dimou, and meet in Ellie’s home, 20 Northgate, Oakham, LE15 6QS, just opposite All Saints. Ellie asks if we can enter by the side gate and NOT ring the bell, so as not to disturb her landlady unnecessarily. There will be both an afternoon and an evening group, meeting on alternate Tuesday and Wednesdays as follows:
Tuesday 28th November 1:30pm and 7:00pm – Watching and Waiting
Wednesday 6th December 1:30pm and 7:00pm – Preparing a Place
Tuesday 12th December 1:30pm and 7:00pm – The need for Change
Wednesday 20th December 1:30pm and 7:00pm – Saying Yes
All materials are provided, and it will not matter if you have looked at this last year, as there is much still to discover. Sessions will last for 90 minutes, and include tea/coffee. All are welcome to join as and when you are able.
