One year on from Deborah’s licensing on 4 February 2018 the four parishes of Whissendine, Ashwell, Market Overton and Teigh are reflecting on the Bishop’s question that day (as at the welcome of all new parish priests) ‘Will you share with Deborah in worship and witness, mission and pastoral care?’ and how the response made ‘With the help of God we will’ can be lived more fully. There is a Going Forward session for all four parishes at Whissendine Church on Saturday 9 February 10am–12noon. All are welcome to come and explore these four areas and discuss the possibilities that emerge, which may be different for each of the four parishes. This is just the beginning of a long-term journey and there will be a further meetings as individual parishes and also together as things develop. [3/2/19]
