Thanks to all who donated Easter eggs to the Foodbank this year – it was an amazing result. We had several large families in crisis over that period so many children benefited from then who otherwise may have gone without.
During quiet time at the food bank a number of volunteers knit squares and recently had enough to sew together for a child’s blanket. This is now on the way to a refugee charity, and a second is fairly imminent. Twiddle muffs are also being created for dementia sufferers.
