For the last 3 years we have been running a Bereavement Support group in the Parish Hall. It has been for people of all faiths or none, for those recently bereaved or those who are still aching after many years. However, particularly since Hildred left, it has become clear that we are not meeting people’s needs, so the meetings on the first Thursday of the month in the Parish Hall will now stop.
We are planning to re-launch the service in the autumn, in a different format. To help provide something useful, we have drawn up a short questionnaire to ask those who are bereaved what would help.
If you have lost a loved one – recently or further back, please fill in one of the Questionnaires which will be at the back of Oakham Church, or you can download a copy here in Word format or as a pdf. You can return it to church, or email it to me.
